Located in downtown Elizabethtown, Hornafius Insurance Agency, Inc has been servicing insurance for over 45 years. It is simply what we do. In fact, the building we work from has been an insurance agency for the last 92 years. Literally, it's in our roots. In 1919 D.L. Landis opened the agency in his home. Ever since that time, there has been an insurance agency located at 23 South Market Street, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. In the 1950s, “Jack” Hornafius took on the agency and changed the name to Hornafius Insurance Agency. Then, in 1995 Dennis Zubler purchased the agency and was joined by partner, Joe Hershey, four years later.
As the insurance industry has evolved, so has Hornafius Insurance Agency, Inc. At one time representing few companies, the agency now uses over 20 companies to write policies that vary from home and auto to apartment building, business, specialty insurance, and more. With many companies to choose from, the agents at Hornafius Insurance Agency are able to do the shopping for their clients. We are proudly serving in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Ohio, Virginia, Connecticut, and New Jersey.
